What is the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Accounting is the overall process of recording, summarizing, analyzing, consulting, and reporting a company’s financials. Bookkeeping focuses on the the recording part of the accounting process, where all financial transactions (incoming and outgoing) are categorized, recorded, and reconciled.

How does professional bookkeeping help my business?

Bookkeeping allows you to know exactly where your money is coming from and where it is going. With this knowledge, you can easily determine the health of your business and make sound business decisions. Additionally, having up-to-date, accurate books will save you time, money, and stress at tax time - and ensure you are getting all of the deductions you can!

Is Domino Bookkeeping insured?

Yes! We are a fully insured and licensed business.

Does Domino Bookkeeping file tax returns?

At this time, we do not do taxes or give tax advice. However, we partner with CPAs who will be happy to assist you with your taxes - please reach out for contact information!

Can I customize my services?

Absolutely! We currently offer two base packages - monthly service and quarterly service. Additionally, we offer add-ons and one-time services. If you have a question about a service or are looking for something not listed, please contact us!
