About Alison

Hi, I’m Alison! Your go-to business contact.

I started Domino Bookkeeping because I wanted to help others on their journey to achieving their dreams as I pursue my own.

Many people dream of turning their passion into profit, but once in the thick of it, running your own business can become very tedious - so many other factors outside of what you are passionate about!

That’s where I come in. I take away all of the stress over ‘the books’, so you can get back to doing more of what you love!

Education & Experience

I have a well-rounded background that allows me to provide guidance in multiple facets of business. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While working in various industries post Bachelor degree, I earned my MBA as well as my Master’s of Accountancy.

Once in the corporate accounting world, I grew my knowledge with over 5 years experience as an auditor followed by almost 2 years as a corporate accountant.

Personal Life

When I had my son, I decided to leave the corporate world, knowing that I would one day realize my dream of owning my own bookkeeping firm while also being there for my kids. I now have two little boys who keep me on my toes each day.

I love chasing them around, but my business keeps me grounded. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling with my husband - I think traveling with my children will become more appealing once they’re older!
